The finals of the Australasian amateur, championship boxing and wrestling tournament were contested on Saturday night, when there was a large attendance. The results were as follow s WRESTLING. Middle-weight.— Cotter (New South Wales) defeated Beattie (victoria) oa points. * Heavy-weight, — Shepherd (Queensland) and Jenkins (Victoria) met» bat the result was declared a draw. BOXING CONTESTS. Bantam-weight, — C&rr (Queensland) defeated Iggolton (Victoria.) on points. Feather-weight. — Murphy (Queensland) defeated Peatce (New South Wales) on points. Light-weight.— HageTty (New Zealand) defeated Slack (Queensland) on points. ' Welter-weight. — Puie (Queensland) defeated M 'Car thy (New South Waiee) on point*. Middle-weight.— T. Thompson (New South Wales) knocked out Qninn (Queensland) after an extra.,, round. Heavy « weight. — Thompson (New South Wales) defeated M'Quarrie (New Zealand) on points.
