Kennedy Elliott conducted a memorial service' in connection with the death of Miss Ruth Anderson, which took place at Napier* last We*k as the result of a cab accident. A memorial service was also held at the tfooms of the Yottng WomWa Christian Association yesterday afternoon, when. Mrs. M'Clay presided. Mft C. E. R&WSOB, formerly efctpeodlary ma^istrat© at Invercargill, and also District Judge in Southland, who died at Invewargill latst week aged ■seventy-four", was the eldest brother of Dr, E. Raweon and Mr. H. P. Raweon, of Wellington. He has left a widow and a family consisting of a eon (Mr. Raweon, S.M. at Westport), Mrs. Lea* tham (wife of Dr, Leatham, New Piymouth), and Mies Rawaon.
