WELLINGTON CLUB. Tho wceUjr run of tho Wellington Club on Saturday was started from Messrs. Johin-ozi) Pmckncjr, ond Co.'s wharc at Lyalt Bsy. Taper was dispensed with, and Salek led thn pack alonft tho beach and rotind iho coast to .^eatoitn, where, at the suggestion of Iho captain, a fifty yardß sprint was indulged in, the winning placos being tilled by Wilton, Uowbcrry, and O'Neill. Another start was made towards the tunno!, where- a handicap run-in was held. Bob Koid pot a good lead, and could not be caught, whining by about thirty yards from PowoA ttirh Johnjou hot far away, third. O'Neill took a f short cut across the sandhilU and finished ecboml, but Was disqualified. Next Saturday a five-mile open intor«elub handk'n.p will be hold at Lower Ilutt. BROOKLYN AND MYMI CLUBH. A combined run was held by tho Brook* l.vn nnd Mymi Club? on .Saturday from the Kolhurno Tea Kio^k. Thero was a lawro attendanco of both clubs, and, though the nm was well over twelve miles in 'length, all tho runners thoroughly enjoyed themsolvPß. One from each club was told off to lay the trait, and the psoki with Captain Clark, of the Mymis, as paco, and Captain Wilton, of the Brooklyns, as whipper-in, left about live- minuteß later thah the bares. Cook, 2; ond M. Pointon. 3 (Brooklyn). D,\?ion and Hildreth (Karori) fin* ished fourth and fifth, the Brooklyn Club scoring three places out of the five. At (ho conclusion of the run the Brooklyn Harriers entertained tho Mytni flnu'iei'3 at afternoon tea.
