DOG SHOWS.
to Tiiic editor. Sir,*-! cau (jttit^ endorse remarks in your Wednesday's "issue re Dog ShdW nqw t being held in fch* Skating Kink, Vivian-street. As most of. your readers are awarv, this building has been used for skating. In justice to the management I must admit that there has been new flooring, which has considerably helped to deaden the noise, but what the residents would like is for the sides and roofs, which consist of corrugated iron, to get the same treatment. Might I suggest that the nekt Dog Show be held in the vicinity of Mount Victoria, as the music would be more evenly distributed. Failing a permit, may I ask that th& ptbtMiietH supply their canin& pets either with muzzles, or the whole suffering neighbourhood with sleeping draughts.— I am, etc., SING ME TO SLEEP, Wellington, 24th August.
