The Bession of the United States Congress has ended. President Tafb Vetoed the Cotton Bill, a democratic measure, lowering s thec tariffs on common imports. All the Dentoetatw measures have now been vetoed, The party, when the winter session ifi held) will endeavour to pass /he Bills over the veto, if President Taft then, having the report of the Tariff Board he appointed ready, does not agree to accept the Democratic Bills. Ib is believed the President is not likely to bo fnrther opposed in the Ldwer House.
