A Bill introduced into Parliament authorises the Pacific Cable Board to construct a cable between Australia aud New Zealand out of the Teserve fund provided. The reserve will thereby be reduced .below £100,000. The board will repay the amount in thirty-five years at 3£ per cent. LABOUR TROUBLES. MILITARY DESPATCHED TO WALES. GLASGOW STRIKE ENDED.
