o CELEBRATION IN WELLINGTON. The arrangements for the of Coronation Da.y iv Wellington aro not completed, as the Acting Prime Minister (Hon. J. Carroll) is consulting with His Excellency the Governor on. the subject, ••md the proposed programme may be slightly altered. Further, the Hon. J. Carroll has suggested to the Mayor that the procession should commence at the Basin Reeerve, with tho exception of the military portion, which will ' assemble a& Government Buildings and join the civilians at the Basin Keserve. The idea is that tho children shall assemble at Newtown Park at 11.15 a.m. His Excellency the Governor will arrive at noon, and a guard of honour will be provided by the veterans. The proceedings, which will last antil 1.30 p.m., are to conclude with a grand march past by the troops. The Coronation medals for the school children will be distributed at the various schools before Coronation Day. They are of aluminium, and on one side is the inscription : "To commemorate Their Majesties' Coronation, 22nd June, 1911,'' surrounding the arms .of the United Kingdom, and on the other side aro the profiles of King George and Queen Mary. The "Honourable Roddy" nuggefc, the Dominion's Coronation gift, attracted a. 'large amount of attention while it was on view in the windows ot Messrs Liitlejolm and Son's establishment, on Lamb-ton-quay. it was shipped on the «^iVarrimoo yesterday evening for Sydney, en route for London.

The Wellington Association of Spiritualists will meet at New Century * Hall, Kent-tcrracc,^. to-morrow evening. To-morrow morning, at 11 o'clock, at the Masonic Hall, Bouleott-street, SisterAvabamia, representative oi" Vedanta, will lecture upon "The Astrology of tho Revelations" (Vedanta. standpoint), and in Lhe oven ins, at 7 o'clock, on "Tho Origin of Vedanta. hoy.- taught 2000 years ago. and its mlation to the various culls and cieocls. ' The public is invited. The Central Mission Band will play a programme of music at tho Hospital tomorrow afternoon.
