STATE COAL MINE.
GREYMOUTH, 12th May. A public meeting was held here- tonight to protest at, the shortage of orders received by the State mine. It wat> stated that the mine was only working half-time, and numbers of miners wiere idle. Resolutions were passed which will be submitted, to the Government.
