BATTLESHIP NEW ZEALAND.
TO BE LAUNCHED BY LADY WARD. By Telegraph,— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received May 3, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 2nd May. It is officially announced that Lady Ward, wife of the New Zealand Prime Minister, will launch the cruiser New Zealand on the Clyde on 29th Juno. [The New Zealand is the Dominion's "gift" ship. She was laid down at the Fairfield Shipbuilding Company's yards, Uovan, on 20th June last. She will be a veesel of 18,800 tons, fitted with turbine engines.]
