The Government's action in purchasing direct from a local store, and forwarding the goods themselves for exhibition, affords positive evidence that consumers of " Oatina " are getting the finest Rolled Oats produced in the world. Mind you, the " Oatina " sent for exhibition was not specially prepared, but was just the usual stock which reaches the public. Really, New Zealanders get better "Oatina" than that adjudicated upon in London, because this latter hadvto undergo a very long sea voyage, which, even under our careful system of packing— a Bag within a Bag— would mean that the quality would slightly deteriorate. » .- Winning this medal surprised us, because the * . goods were exhibited quite without our knowledge.
