MURDER TRIAL.

The trial has commenced at the Old Bailey, before Mr. Justice Grantham and a jury, of the persons charged with the murder of three jDolicemen, the wounding of two others, and with conspiracy to break and enter into the premises of Mr. H. S. Harris, Jeweller, of Houndsditch, on 16th December last. The prisoners, Russian subjects, are : Jacob Peters, aged twenty-four, tailor. John Zelin or Rosen, aged twenty-six barbel. Zurka . Dubof, aged twenty-four, painted*. 'Nina Vassilleva, aged twenty-thiee, cigarette-maker.. On the suggestion of Mr. Justice Grantham, the charges of constructive murder against Peters and Dubof were withdrawn, and they are now -charged with being accessories. Zelin, and Vaseilleva have to answer charges of murder. Zeiin (or Rosen) and the other three are also- charged with conspiring to enter ,the jeweller's shop with intent to commit a felony. [Eight prisoners were originally accused, but the following have been discharged : — Sara Roeie Traesioneky, aged j twenty-siz, a skirt 'finisher ; Luba Milaged nineteen, a skirt finisher ; 'Osip Federof, aged thirty, engineer ; and 'Karl Hoffman, aged twenty -three, paper--hanger and seaman.] j
