SCHOOL RUGBY.
1 Interest in the action to be taken by the Wellington Public Schools Rugby Union regarding the application of the Marist Brothers' Schools to enter the competitions is increasing from day to da,y. The following items appear on the the order paper for an urgent general" meeting of the union at the Education Board's offices next Friday ; — (1) Notice of motion proposed by Mr. Baekivillo : •''That the Marist Bros, be granted per■mießioni to pla.y in our Rugby competitions." (2) To receive delegates (if the meeting ia.^ agreeable) from Wellington R-ugby Union ro admission of Marist Eros. (3) To reoeivei a deputation, from the Headmasters' Association. Prior to "deputating" the headmasters will d'iecuee the general question of ■ Bchool football. A meeting of the Headmasters' Association hae been convened for that purpose for 4 o'clock this afteraoon.
