INTERESTING FIGURES. By Telegraph.— Press Association —Copyright. SYDNEY, 19th April. At a luncheon in connection with the. manufacturers' week, Mr. Trefle (Minister for Agriculture) quoted figures showing the valuo of the machinery of the Commonwealth to be £26,000,000, and New South Wales £10,000,000. Premises used by manufacturers : Com* monwealth, £27,000,000; New South Wales, £11,000,000. Raw material used : Commonwealth, £65,000,000; New South Wales, £27.000,000. In ten years the production of the Commonwealth hod increased from £112,272,000 to £174,000,000.
