"MADE IN GERMANY."
A CANCELLED ORDER. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received April 20, 9 a.m.") LONDON, 19th April. Owing to local indignation at its action in ordering from Germany 11,750 souvenir mugs at sss 6d a dozen, as compared with an English quotation of 5a lid a dozen, the Coronation Committee at Wallasey (Cheshire) has cancelled the order, and placed the contract in England. [A previous message stated that it was a Coronation Committee in the Worsley district of Lancashire which had placed an order for mugs with German firms.]
