THE VETO BILL.
INVALIDITY INSURANCE MEASURE. 5 LONDON, 19th April. Mr. Asquith, Prime Minister, speaking in the House of Commons, said he hoped to have the Veto Bill introduced in the House of Lords eaily in May. Mr. Lloyd Georg&'s Invalidity Insurance Bill and a Bill amending the law regarding the employment of trades union funds would be introduced before Whitsuntide. Mr. C. E. Hobhouse, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, said he admitted that the sinking funds lost £680,000 through the Treasury's refusal to coilect income tax after the laying aside of the 1909 Budget, '■
