MINERS' DISPUTE.
IF NO SETTLEMENT IS REACHED. l - OTTAWA, Bth April. The Government is allowing the 7000 miners on strike in the West untD Monday to settle their differences with the: colliery companies. If no settlement is reached, the Government will ther appoint an Arbitration Board. THE TROUBLE AT PRINCE RUPERT. THINGS QUIET. OTTAWA, 9th April Prince Rupert, British Columbia, where a violent conflict occurred between, the police and strikers engaged on civic contracts, is quiet. It is announced that the strikers will be deported after th^ have served their sentences. Civic work has been resumed.
