'ATHLETIC RUGBY CLUB. Mr. G. F. C. Campbell presided atl the annual meeting of the Athletic Football Club, which was held at God* ber's rooms, Cuba-street, last evening. There was an attendance of over 100. The report and balance-sheet, details of which have already been published, were adopted. Thirty-one new members were elected.. The chairman announced that tKS Star (Wednesday) Club had decided to amalgamate with the club. In consequence a team will be entered for. the Wednesday championship. DIAMOND ASSOCIATION CLUB. The annual meeting of the Diamond Association Football Club was held last evening at the Trocadero Hotel. Mr. H. R. Davenport presided. The annual report, already published, was adopted. Mr. F. Anderson was elected a life) member of the club. .Supporters of the club offered gokl medals for the two players showing the most improved form in the second and third division teams. It wae decided to support the propo^ sal of the W.F.A., to make a levy on the senior and second division teams for the purpose of meeting the expense of marking out the field or play on the city reserves.
