THE REARRANGEMENTS. CSI TEIEGEAPH — PHBBB .ABHOOIATIOW.I AUCKLAND, This Day. In view of the Separfcureiof Sir Joeepb Ward and Dr. Findlay, thtMCabinet port-, folios have been rearranged. The Hon. J. Carroll will be acting-Premier, and in addition to his own portfolios will be Minister in charge of the -Crown Law, Advances to Settlers, Electoral, andy National Annuities Departments. The, Hon. J. Millar takes charge of the Treasury, Friendly Societies, State Guaranteed Advances-, and .Land and Income Tax. The Hon. G. Fowlds will take the portfolios of Defence, Justice, Police, Prisons, Public Health ; the Hon. , T. Mackenzie Post and Telegraph, Advertising, and State Forests ; Hon. R.* M'Kenzie, Customs; Hon. D. Buddo, Land for Settlement, and Land Settlers Finance.
