NEW ZEALAND AND THE CORONATION.
MILITARY REPRESENTATION. tBX XELKGEAFH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.I CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. "I have not received any invitation for private members to attend the Coronation," said Sir Joseph Ward last evening. "I have made a similar statement all along, and I have said already that if invitations are received I shall bo only too glad to place the fullest information before members of Parliament." Referring to the matter of the presence of New Zealand troops at tho Coronation, Sir Joseph Ward said that a proposal was being considered, that Colonel Bauchop, at present in Great Britain, should take charge of a voluntary corps drawn from the Dominion. If such a corps could be secured — as he believed from information already before him would be possible — then New Zealand would have military representation in connection with' the ceremonies.
