. _* AUSTRALIAN AKD NEW ZEALAND A PROTEST. COLOURED LABOUE QUESTION. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright, (Received February 18, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 17th February. After considering a resolution passed by the Glasgow and Liverpool Associations, the Chamber of Shipping unanimously resolved that the New Zealand Shipping Act of 1910 and the Australian Navigation Bill prejudicially affected British shipping, and urged the Imperial Conference to consider the subject. The chamber also protested against diminishing the sphere of employment of British ships owing to their exclusion from the intercolonial trade. The chamber, by an overwhelming majority, resolved that the Declaration of London should not be ratified until it had been modified or foodstuffs declared not to be contraband. [The Chamber of Shipping of the; United Kingdom consists of thirty shipowners' associatipns of the United Kingdom. It communicates with the chief Government departments on all matters affecting the interests of British merchant shipping.]
