SUGGESTED NATIONALISATION. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright). SYDNEY, 16fch February. ' A deputation from the Labour Conference requested Mr. MacDonnell, Minister for Agriculture, to nationalise the health administration. Special stress was laid on tho nationalisation of hospitals, the registration of persons practising the curative art, the regulation of medical fees, the care of maternity cases, and the protection of child life. The deputation asked for the creation, of a special Department of State. Mr. McDonnell gave- a sympathetic reply, and promised that Cabinet would give its consideration to the requests made. Personally he favoured the nationalisation of the hosDitals at tlia earliest opportunity.
