THE WAIHI MINE.
CAPTAIN RICHARD'S EEfuRT. fBY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 16th February. Captain Richard, general manager of the Mount Morgan Mine, who was engaged by tha Londoii board of directors of the Waibi Gold Mining Company to report upon the Waihi mine, left by the Macedonia lor Sydney. Prior to his departure Captain Richard stated thafc he was cabling a precis of his findings to the London office of the company, and that this precis would be published simultaneously hero and in London. He also said that he was preparing a much fuller report, accompaiiicd by diagrams, etc., and" lie would be occupied upon this during ths voyage over. He expected to have the full report ready in about thr-ee weeks' time, when it would bo forwarded to s'ondon, and it also would foe issued simultaneously nere and in London. It is understood that Captain Richard's shorter report ivas cabled to London this morning.
