Plaintiff contended that defendant bad undertaken to engage her as a housekeeper, but failed to do so, and she was put to oxpense in having to wait. The defence was that the engagement was subject to a married couple vacating a position on the station. .The couple did not go, and defendant notified plaintiff to this effect. Mr. R. B. Williams appeared for the pjaintiff. Mr. A. L. Herdman for defendant. Decision was ■*€- served.
