At Wingatui this morning E2ort and Iranui went a mile and three furlongs at half-pace, improving to three-quarter, both going freely. Cronstadt went twice round at half-pace, finishing the last four furlongs fast. Stratagem, accompanied by_ Black, went twice round at half-pace, improving to three-quarter. Fasnakyle went once round at three quarter pace. Kostroma sprinted half a mile easily in 51«ec. Soldiers' Chorus went seven furlongs in lmin 33sec. Lupulite was sent over six furlongs, the last five being negotiated comfortably in j l/nin Bsec.
