Queensland has decided not to continue negotiations for a loan of half a million from the Federal Government. It is understood the State is in search of a larger amount, and will go to the market where it will get more advantageous terms. Mr. Denham, the Premier, states tnat he has decided, in the best interests of Queensland, not to take a Federal loan.
