He states that his personal attitude -and opinion remain unchanged, but that he withdraws his campaign in deference to tho wish of the Labour movement. ' *3ir. 31'Goiven, the Premier, in defining his attitude towards the referenda, gitid he and his colleagues and a numToev of members of the State Labour Z*arty intended to dontinue the campmagn for reconsideration of the whole Federal position. This would be best' effected by the election of a fresh con : vention on the adult franchise, at which file whole State and Federal functions could be discussed in the light of ten years' experience.
