» SPANISH REPUBLICAN LEADER. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received February 13, 9 a.m.) MADRID, 12th February. Senor Lerroux, a Republican leader, was fired at five times at Sabadell, Catalonia, but escaped uninjured. Three arrests have been madw. [Senor Lerroux has been having flattering receptions in some parts of Spain. On the 25th December, according to The Times Barcelona correspondent, he arrived from Madrid by special train, accompanied by 400 people who had « met him at Tarragona. He drove in an open carriage with the deputy-mayor down the boulevard, surrounded by followers with Republican banners. Senor Lerroux smiled and bowed with the air of a conqueror, notwithstanding his reverses in Madrid.]
