At the wool sales there was offered a miscellaneous selection. Yorkshire and Continental buyers were the chief operators. Prices were maintained. To date. 169,854 bales were offered and 157,322 sold, including : — Whakaki, highest price lOd, average 9d; "R-S" over "T," 12Ad; Titi, highest price lUd, " average 9£d ; "W.D.," highest price 14£ d, average 10£ d; Aonauna, highest price lOd, average 9£d.
