A meeting of the Wellington shareholders in the Waihi Gold Mine will be hold at the Slock Exchange tomorrow evening as an outcome of an ■ informal meeting of fifteen or twenty shareholders •who were- of opinion that a meeting should be held to decide upon what course of action should be taken in the interests of shareholders. It is expected that some fifty or sixty shareholders will attend. The proceedings .will not be open to lh& press. TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED. The superintendent of the Talisman Consolidated mine, reporting for the fortnight ended • 3rd December, 1910, states : — "No. 12 Level.— Cornes's reef: The north drive has been advanced 3ft, total 35ft, width of reef 9in; values average Is 4d. Cornes's reef : The south drive has been advanced Bft. total 57ft, width of reef 6in ; values average Is. Stoping : The values from east vein slopes average £3 2s 6d ; tons sent to mill 210. The values from stopes off No. 12 rhe average £4 lls lid; tons sent to mill 570. The values from No. 3 north block stopes average £1 I 17s 3d ; tons sent to mill 120. "No. 13 Level.— South drive; Advanced 36ft, total 1119 ft, width of reef 24m; values average 13s Id. North drive : Advanced 18ft, total 685 ft, width of reef 36in ; values average 2s. No. 650 ft north a riser (No. 3 north) has been started to connect with No. 6 level, Woodstock; progress 17ft.
