At a mass meeting of wharf labourer*, who struck for an advance of fourpenca an hour on the handling of certain, cargo, it was decided to resume work this morning, at the same time ac the Waterside Workers' Federation re-opens negotiations with the owners with 3 view to having grievances settled. ' This decision wa6 reached after an intimation from the steamship owners that they intended to adhere to the arrange . ment which came into operation in January, but that they were prepared to hear complaints through the proper chan* neLs.
