[BY TELEGRAPH — PBESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 30th January. ■At the second clay's racing in connection with the Takapuna Jockey Club's Summer Meeting the totalisator etaff was kept busy, the sum of £11,173 being handled, an increase of £3072 over the corresponding day of last year. Twenty-nine bookmakers were licensed at £12 10s each, to-day marking the last occasion on which bookmakers will be allowed to carry on their calling in the Dominion.
