Sir George Reid, the Commonwealth High Commissioner, ha* arranged to address the Chambers of Commerce at Luton, Leeds, and Hull. OLD-AGE PENSIONS AND POORLAW RELffiF. LONDON, 28th January. The Government will introduce a measure into Parliament defining the proportion of the guardians' contribution to the old-age pension of ex-paupers. A workman at Bochium, in Westphalia, threw his wife from a window and strangled his four children. He. then committed suicide.
