A note signed "Norman Kearle," the Dams of the man who has been missing from Hikurangi since Monday last, was iound pushed under the door of the constable's residence. Ifc contained the words : ""Vtade too big a fool of myself to return. Going to be a parson. Goodbye." It is generally concluded that Kearle has a mental kink. [Kearle left a note in his room stating that he was tired of life, and wishing his friendfi good-bye.]
