<> _ It is announced in the Gazette that Captain (Adjutant) P. de B. Bwndon has been transferred from the Regimental Staff of tho Second Wellington (Wairarapa) Mounted Rifles to tho Active List, with his present rank. Captain W. Simpson, V.D., Retired List, has bcon promoted to the rank of major. The Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officers' Decoration has been conferred on Captain J T. Bosworth, Active List, who^ has a total rank and commissioned seivice of nearly twenty-ono years. The same decoration has been conferred on Captain G. H. Hammond. Stoke Rifles, and Captain E. Arnold, Waimea Rifles, both of whom have over twenty years' service. An Imperial Long Service and Good Conduct Medal has 'been conferred on Sergeant H. F. Valentine, Royal New Zealand Artillery. Captain A. M. MacDiarmid, Wellington Highland Rifles, has resigned, and his name has been placed ou the Active List with ronk of captain. Captain (Acting Lieut. -Colonel) D. Pringle is gazetted Lieut. -Colonel 3rd Regiment, Wellington (Manawatu) ; Mounted Rifles. lion. Lieut. (Pay and Quartermaster; W. H.
