REMAINS FOUND NEAR TIMBUKTOO. Bj Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 26th January. News from Timbuktoo, in the French Soudan, states that the remains of Major Alexander Gordon Laing, an Engliish soldier and explorer who was murdered near the town by Arabs in September, 1826, have been discovered in the desert.
