FIRE AT PUKEKOHE. [BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS ASSOCIATION]
AUCKLAND, This Day. A fire at Pukekohe destroyed twolarge buildings — one owned by Mr. S. A. Whyte, and occupied by Mr. Vanziona, a chemist, the other owned by Samuel Vaile and Co., and occupied 'by Mr. Wright, their local agent. Vanziona'e. stock was destroyed. Wright's furniture and office fittings were saved. Both buildings were insured, Vaile and Co.'s in the Royal office for £400, their loss being estimated at £200. Vanziona'sloss, estimated at £300, was covered by. an insurance in the Royal office.
