KARORI BOROUGH.
The Karori Borough Council met last evening. There were present : — The Mayor (Mr. C. I. Dasent), Councillors Cathie, Standen, Hildreth, Warmsley, Burr, and Welling. The Tramways Band wrote asking for permission to travel free on the trams over the borough lines on sth February, ¦when it is engaged to play, at Karori. Permission was granted for uniformed bandsmen oiily so to travel. The understanding is that the concession must not be regarded as a precedent.
