NOTICE is hereby given that the District Electors' List for 1911-12 is now being compiled, and enquiry should be made by all Ratepayers and qualified Residents, at the Town Clerk's Office, to ascertain if their names are included therein. Attention is drawn to the fact that the names of all those RESIDENTIAL VOTERS who did not exercise their vot» at tlie Mayoral and Councillors' Election in 1909, and also aftne Mayoral Election in 1910,. Attention is further directed to tha provision in the Municipal Corporations Act that a husband or wife entitled to registration may also enrol their wife or husband by virtue of ftieir own qualification, but this must be done by tha Elector on the usual application form. "The Municipal Corporations Amendment Act. 1910," provides that all resi. dents of one year in New Zealand, and of three months last past in the District or Ward of a District, who are of th» age of 21 years and over, are entitled to be enrolled. This applies to tho*e of both sexes, whether resident at home or in lodgings, who have not hitherto beea included.
