MISSIONS TO SEAMEN. A large number of sailors met at the Missions to Seamen Institute yesterday, and proceeded to Mrs. Rhodes's estate, Wadestown, whei'e a picnic took place. All kinds of sports were held, under the direction of Mr. J. Moore, the Miesioner, uhe following winning prizes :—: — Messrs. Gptz, Stone, Kelsey, Bradcock, Scaife (2),' Young (3), A. W. Bull (2), Paton, Zilius, Shepherd, Freeman, Foreman, and Craw (2). A concert was provided at the Institute in the evening by Mrs. J. Blundell, before a large audience. The iliusical arrangements v. ere in the hands of Miss Easson, and the following contributed items to the programme :— -Pianoforte solo. Miss Betby_ ; song, Mr. Goudie ; recitation, Miss Dix ; song, Mi's. Ingerton ; song, Miss Easson ; recitation, Mr. Cottrell ; song, Mr. Shepherd ; duet, Mrs. Ingerton and Miss Easson. Mrs. J. \V. Easeon and Miss Easson played the accompaniments. tho evening Mrs. Williams presented the prizes won during the day.
