AT MANAWATU. The third annual shooting fixture in connection with the Manawatu Rifle As. Eooiation was continued yesterday, under excellent; weathor conditions. Some of the shooting svas very creditable. The results were as follow: — GRAND AGGREGATES. For the three matches tired on Saturday Via. Rflmn. W. A. Lumsden. Sandon R.C., £2 and gold medal ... 180 Sergt. Dalziell, Palmerston Guards, £1 10s, and gold atid Silver medal 179 Rflmu. Judd, Karori, £1 ... „«. 1?9 EXTRA MATCH. Ten shots at- 600 yards. Pvt. Eyles, Dannevirke, £2 .. . . 48 Rflmn. Halliday, Karori, £1 10s ... 47 Rflum. Randall., Linton, £1 47 Sergt. Purnell," Wanganui, £1 ... 47 The following Wellington, riflemen also secured prizes:— Rifleman Marshall (Karon), 15s, 47 ; Sergt. Baker (Hutt Valley), ss, 46; and Pvfc. Wood (College Rifles), ss, BENEFIT. Rflmn. Feist (Opaki) won the Benefit Match, with a «core of 50 points, and a prize of £1. Rflmn. Halliday (Karori) gained ss, with 47 points. AGGREGATES. Sergt. Dalziell (Palmerston), with 198 points, and a pdvo of £1 10s, got the best aggregate. With 185, Rflmn. Halliday (Karori) secured l?s 6d, and Rflmn. Judd (Karori), 189, gaihod "10s.
