EECOED TEADE IN AUCKLAND: [BY TELBGBAPH — SPECIAL TO THE POST.] AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland shopkeepers aro rubbing their hands, in glee over the result of their Christmas trade. They all report having done record business during Christmas week}. Some express their surprise at this result, as the}' say that the Christinas business has been increasing steadily for so many years that they thought it impossible for it to still further increase. The present season has been a very good one in the country districts. Trades in the city have been veryactive, and no doubt this prosperity is reflected w the Christmas shopping. ;
