SHIPYARD LOCK-OUT.
— — , ,q. .. EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION AND LORD FURNESS. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 2nd December. The Employers' Federation has adopted a resolution condemning Lord Furness's statement in regard to the shipyard lockout, which it is complained was made at .a political meeting, and without any seeking for authoritative information. Lord Furness stated that Mr. Asquith Was preparing what he believed to be a fair and honourable solution of the shipyard question, which the Employers' Federation would have to accept, or the lock-out should end. "Otherwise," added his Lordship, "the shipbuilding industry must choose between me and the Federation."
