FRENCH EX-PREMIER CENSURED By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received December 3, 10 a.m.) PARIS, 2nd December. The committee of the French Chamber appointed to investigate- the conduct of the prosecution of Rochette, who was sentenced on 27th July for swindling, unanimously finds that the prefect of police, at M. Clemenceau's instigation, procured a bogus plaintiff. The committee blames M. Clemenceau for intervening without consulting the judicial authorities. Sochette, who was a Parisian financier, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for embezzlement and infringement of the Company Law. Several of Ropnette's associates were sentenced to minor punishments.
