KHEDIVE OF EGYPT.
HIS REPORTED ABDICATION. It is reported oy the Dalziel Agency that the Khedive of Egypt will shortly abdicate. Persons attached to the Khedive's entourage assert that Great Britain has for some time decided to bring übout his abdication, and that the recent interview of Mustaplm Pasha with Sir Edward Grey, and other occurrences, have all had this end in view. It is believed that the Khedive's prolonged visit to Constantinople has for its main object an effort on his part to neutralise the unfavourable impression which British representatives are alleged to have given as to hi* fitness to remain the nominal ruler of Egypt. Another report is that his Highne&s has actually gone to Constantinople to mak« arrangements to take up his residence there on hifl departure from Egypt.
