CAB PROPRIETORS DISAGREE.
m Further evidence was heard by Df* M'Arthur, S.M., at the Magistrate's Court yesterday in the claim mad« by Richard Patrick Flanagan, cab proprietor, of Wellington, for £45' 18s 4d from Thomas Patrick Lyons, also a cabproprietor, of Wellington, as salary from the Ist October till 10th December 1 , 1910, at £234 per annum. Mr. Blair appeared for the plaintiff, Mr. H. L. Machell for defendant, who entered .a counterclaim 011 several alternative grounds for profit alleged to have been made on horses and cabs by the plaintiff while in the. service of defendant, or the return of such cabs and horses claimed by plaintiff as his own property. The defence as* serted behaviour on tho part of plaia. tiff not consistent with a proper rel»i tjonship between master and servant. The case -was not concluded, and waa further adjourned fill Tuesday next.
