WORKERS' HOMES.
ERECTION OF BUILDINGS. It would appear that th& Labour legislation piogTamme of the Government has not yet reached its limit for the session. The Minister for Labour was asked last week by Mr. Hogg whether effect has yet been given to the scheme under which workers, on payment of deposit, would be able to get dwellings erected. This afternoon Mr. Hogg was informed by the Mvnister that a Bill on those lines was being prepared, and h4 hoped to bring it before the Hpuss in a few days.
