SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS.
About twenty-four persons attended a meeting of accountants at the Chamber of Commeroo last evening to form the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Soci&ty of Accountants and to adopt rales. Resclniicns in that direction •were carried and the following officers were elected : — Committee, Messrs. H. A. Gold, W. Harrington, C. H. Matthews, and R. Wiiberfoss; auditor, &£r. H, Bicknell.
