NO CONFIRMATION. By Telegraph.— Press Association.—Copyrtglm MELBOURNE, 7th November. Mr. Hughes, the Acting-Federal Pj-i mo Minister, states that he ' has received no confiimation of the cable message respecting the Canadian mail contracUhaving been granted to the Union Company. He adds that in tho absence of such he* must think that the Canadian Government has done nothing definite.
