Teams representing Messrs Ross and Glendining and Bing, Harris and Co.' fired a Morris-tube match last night, the former winning by 204 points to 172. Scores : — Ross and /Glendining — J. In a Morris-tube shooting match at Tandy's rifle range on Monday evening, a team representing Coulls, Culling's defeated C. W. Martin's employees by 24 points. Passengers by the Ulimaroa to-day had a bright and lively time on the run over from Sydney. Communication was maintained with the land all the way by wireless. He was placed in a strait jacket, from which he extricated himself in lmin 45 .seconds. Then Mr. Darroch, the chief officer of the ship, so tied him up that he took 4min 35 seconds to free himself, atyhdugh it occupied 15 minutes to tie him up. From the various entertainments a sum of £4 18s was derived for the Shipwreck Relief Society. A newspaper with wireless messages was published daily. Messrs. T. Kennedy Macdonald, Ltd., will sell at 1.30 p.m. on Friclay, in their rooms, 750 valuable books, by ordpr of tho Official Assignee in the bnnkrupt estate of Granvillo Hunt. Membei'3 of Jupp's Band are to meet on Thursday night at the People's Palace Hotel, to march the Wanganui Garrison Band to the Town Hall.
