THEFT FROM A MAIL STEAMER^ By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright^ VANCOUVER, 4th October. Bullion and bank-notes to the value of £5000 were stolen from the mail room of the steamer City of Seattle, en) route from Skagway to Vancouver. A messman and a sailor were arrest-, ed, and the bank-notes were found ia a pair of stockings belonging to tS« messman.
